Marilyn Jaye Lewis has been writing and editing sexually-focused fiction since the late 1980s, and has had a continuous online presence since 1998, when her first multi-media project – as head writer of DADAhouse – won the AVN Award for Best CD Rom Game of 1998 and was showcased on HBO. She is the author of 8 published novels, with 9 & 10 currently in the pipeline, and 50+ published short stories, as well as many essays, flash-memoirs, and novellas. Over the decades, Lewis has won numerous awards, both in the US and Europe, for her fiction writing, screenwriting, and multi-media production – including inclusion in Playboy’s first Online Hall of Fame for her trailblazing literary erotic fiction website, Other-Rooms.com, in 1998. Her novels, novellas and short stories have been translated into numerous languages, including French, Spanish, German, Japanese and Italian. Currently, she is co-producer of Abstract Absurdity Productions, a micro-short film production company based in Nice, France. As a playwright, she writes and produces with the renowned African American transgender actress, Sandra Caldwell.
